True Corporation, through True Lab and the MorDee application, leaders in telemedicine apps, hosted the final pitching round of the “True LAB Hackathon x MorDee” project. The stage was set for Thai innovators to present their works, beginning with conceptual ideas and evolving into prototype features. These innovations aim to make healthcare and the use of telemedicine apps more accessible and efficient for the Thai people. The competition focused on the theme “Feature for Future Telemedicine Application” The top three winning teams of the Hackathon, namely Team ChanRuay, Team Thirathat, and Team TrillionX, collaborated on developing features. They received intensive guidance and consultations from executives and experts from “MorDee” over a period of more than 6 weeks. The goal was to enhance and refine their projects, preparing to integrate the innovative “Disease” feature into the intelligent healthcare platform of “MorDee.
For the Final Pitching competition, the honor of sponsorship came from True Corporation, represented by Mr. Chakkrit Urairat, Head of Regulatory & Government Relations Division (Acting) and True Digital Group Limited, represented by Dr. Yosavadee Nirundornwichai, Head of Products and Strategy Department. They extended their congratulations and presented monetary rewards to the winning team of the competition.
The winning team, Thirathan (General Public)
Developed the PrideDee feature, providing consultation services for sexual health issues, specifically targeting the gay community, which is at high risk of HIV. The feature enables emergency access to HIV antiretroviral drugs within 72 hours to prevent disease transmission, reduce risks, and maintain privacy to instill confidence in service utilization.
The first runner-up prize goes to Team ChanRuai from Chulalongkorn University and Thammasat University.
They developed a feature for students who need to travel abroad for studies, including those who relocate internationally. The highlight of this feature is its convenience, allowing for vaccination services to be provided at home, adhering to the vaccination requirements of each country. It also facilitates the quick issuance of vaccination certificates.
The second runner-up prize goes to Team Trillion X from Chulalongkorn University.
They developed the DeeFiT feature, providing nutritional and health consultation through the ordering of health-focused meals based on recommendations from expert physicians. The feature emphasizes the most beneficial ways of consumption for overall health.
Moreover, True Corporation has plans to further expand and develop all three features to connect with the people of Thailand through the intelligent healthcare platform, ‘MorDee’ Additionally, they have ongoing projects aimed at fostering entrepreneurial skills and innovation among the younger generation. These efforts are part of their commitment to elevate the competitiveness of the country in the future.
