WeOmni and Altervim Sign Cooperative Agreement To develop EV charging service applications

WeOmni – a service unit under the umbrella of Ascend Commerce Company Limited a leader in e-commerce industry in Southeast Asia led by Ms. Darunporn Jirakitanusorn, General Manager WeOmni (Second from left) and Mr. Dan Itsarayoungyuen, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) WeOmni (First from left) have signed a cooperative agreement with Altervim Co., Ltd., provider of EV charging stations led by Mr. Somboon Lertsuwannaroj, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Altervim (Third from left), and Mr. Nattapol Thanathammanan, Head of Business Development Altervim (Fourth from left) to establish a Technology Partnership. This partnership will develop full-stack customization applications accessible on smart phones enabling communication and control of electricity distribution at EV charging stations. The application offers a wide range of functions including coordinates of nearest charging stations, total number of charging ports and available ports, advanced booking, real-time display of performance data at charging stations together with users’ applications, setting start-stop charging via smart phone applications as well as payment methods via credit cards and Altervim Wallet – all to provide the ultimate convenience and efficiency for EV customers at Altervim.

Co-operation between WeOmni and Altervim as Tech Partner gives a combined strength with WeOmni delivering services to Altervim in the form of End-to-End from designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining the system at all steps. The multi-functions application has been developed to currently support for more than 57,000 electricity vehicle users in Thailand (as of 30 August 2023) and is likely to increase further. Altervim Super Charge has enjoyed great success as a result of efficient services with the number of downloads exceeding 14,000 Users within the first months of the launch. At present, Altervim Super Charge is at 100 stations across Thailand with expansion plan for a total of 300 locations by 2024 to meet the growing demand of EVs in Thailand.
