LINE funds 235 million baht on its mega campaign An integrated platform experience with “Reward Marketing”

LINE, a leading tech platform, welcomes the new year with a new strategy. Introducing its strategic services; LINE SHOPPING, LINE VOOM and LINE MAN, with a new mega campaign worth 235 million baht. The initiative is to create a new experience for users towards the new phase of Reward Marketing.

Dr. Phichet Rerkpreecha, Chief Executive Officer at LINE Company (Thailand) said, “LINE is a well-known platform among Thai users, with over 50 million accounts or more than 90% of mobile internet users in Thailand. Previously, LINE was a synergy of different sort of services. Our endeavor was to deliver a seamless experience to users around the idea of “Life on LINE” to become the one-stop service platform leader that could help respond to all sort of different lifestyle.”

Recently, LINE has invested 235 million baht for a mega project. This is the first time in a decade for such campaign. The seamless integration of LINE SHOPPING, LINE VOOM and LINE MAN is introduced via 2 campaigns. ” LINE VOOM Instant Win”, a collaboration of LINE VOOM x LINE MAN and “Shop – Eat – Pay at Special Deal” from LINE SHOPPING x LINE MAN.

For the first campaign “LINE VOOM Instant Win”, LINE VOOM, a short-video platform, in collaboration with LINE MAN was launched during 16-28 February. LINE spent more than 35 million baht on LINE MAN promo code giveaway. Users only need to tab 3 “LINE VOOM” for a chance to win a promo code. Throughout the 13-day of giveaway, Around 10.4 million baht worth of coupons has been offered to the users.

Another latest campaign was “Shop – Eat – Pay at Special Deal” LINE SHOPPING, together with LINE MAN, invested over 200 million baht on special deals for online shoppers on LINE SHOPPING. Every purchase starting from 300 baht, will receive a LINE MAN discount code up to 300 baht. The discount value will be increased up to 3 times on the special days. In addition, every transaction via Rabbit LINE Pay will receive extra LINE POINTS to be used as a further discount on both LINE SHOPPING and LINE MAN. Buyers will also receive a special multiplier of LINE POINTS (2x or 3x) on special days on LINE SHOPPING until March 31, 2022. LINE has planned a full communications support on every media of the platform along with a campaign presenter “James Teeradon” to promote this campaign through the short film.

These two campaigns have been designed to share a seamless digital experience for LINE users, and to enhance platform experience. Users would enjoy the experience as much as when they go shopping at the shopping mall. We aim to offer not just products but also services and entertainment with 3 key strategies as follows.

  • Recreation: provide seamless shopping experience on LINE SHOPPING while enjoying fun contents on LINE VOOM, and not missing out on the scrumptious endless food varieties on LINE MAN
  • Reward & Redemption: offer promo code prizes and redeem on LINE MAN. Every purchase via Rabbit LINE Pay will earn LINE POINTS which can be collected and used as cash to spend further.
  • Return: Users will be brought back to many other services offered on a single platform to enjoy more prizes and other activities on LINE app.
