On 25th January 2022 from 14.00 – 16.40 hours, Embassy of Israel in Thailand is hosting “Israel-Thailand Cyber Security Online Forum: Securing the Future”, a webinar focusing on Cyber Security in both IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operational Technology) aspects.
The forum aims to bring together top management from cyber security companies, tech experts, and opinion leaders from Israel and Thailand to discuss the future of cyber security threats. Apart from the knowledge exchange, eight top Israeli cyber security companies will showcase their solutions at the event.
The rapid advancement in communication technology along with the global pandemic has change the threat landscape. In recent years, there has been an immense increase in cyber-attacks on the state’s critical infrastructures and all sectors. With the attack getting closer, stealthier, and getting more severe, the event will focus on what should the decision-makers do to prevent, mitigate, and solve the problem.
Israel is the home of more than 50 percent of Cyber Security Unicorns in the world. As the nation has a unique condition that would require constant preparation and innovation in cyber security, the knowledge and know-how accumulated would surely be beneficial for decision makes and cyber-security personnel, both from the data-centric and the operational sector in Thailand.
In the event, General Dr. Prachya Chalermwat, Secretary General of National Cyber Security Agency will deliver the speech on the Future of Thailand Cyber Resilience. Followed by a panel discussion on “Towards a digital future: Cyber Trends 2022” featured by experts and decision-makers from CP Group, Bangkok Banks, KPMG, and Bank of Israel. The second panel will be “Manufacturing Sector X Operation Technology Security Adoption” featured by the speakers from Cyber Elite, GULF, NECTEC, and Chairman of the Israeli Cyber Forum. There will be a technology showcase from eight Israeli cyber companies as well as opportunity for business matching with the participating companies.
