Prof. Soranit Silatham M.D. (right), Chairman of the National Innovation Board of Thailand awarded the National Innovation Awards 2024 to True Corporation Plc, represented by Mr. Chakkrit Urairat (left), Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, as an organization with outstanding innovation initiatives and creating obvious and sustainable values to the nation. True Corporation, a leading Thai tech company, received this award for the 4th consecutive year and this year, was granted two significant accolades: 1. The Honorary National Innovation Award for the creation of the Autistic Application, aimed at enhancing the educational potential and communication abilities of children with autism, and 2. The National Innovation Award for Social and Environmental Dimension, in the large and medium-sized enterprise category, awarded for the development of MorDee, intelligent health care platform, which provides telemedicine services at anytime and anywhere, hence promoting sustainable good health and wellness for the Thais. On this occasion, Dr. Piyaporn Pasakannon, Head of Sustainability; Mr. Chang Foo, Head of Digital Health at True Digital Group Co.,Ltd.; Mr. Praparnpong Maknuan, Head of True Plookpanya and Mr. Veerasak Pongtanyavichai, Head of Innovation Center, as well as True’s innovator team participated in the event at the Siam Kempinski Hotel, Bangkok.

True Corporation’s achievements acknowledged at the National Innovation Awards 2024 comprise:
- The Autistic Application receiving the Honorary Innovation Award which was awarded to organizations that have received the National Innovation Awards for over a decade and have consistently implemented their inventions to create sustainable value. True Corporation, through True Plookpanya, has collaborated with the Autistic Thai Foundation to develop the Autism Application as a tool to enhance the physical, intellectual, and emotional capabilities of children with autism at all levels. This initiative aims to increase their learning potential and vocational training, enabling them to generate sustainable income independently. The application series can be downloaded for free of charge and consist of:
- Daily tasks enhancing fine motor abilities and routine learning skills such as dental hygiene, bathing, and hair cleaning.
- Trace & Share improving fine motor skills and intellectual abilities associated with line drawing and replication.
- Communication enhancing linguistic and communicative abilities through the instruction of vocabulary, sentence construction, and pronunciation exercises.
True has been conducting training sessions on the use of this application for individuals with autism and their families within its network since 2016. Over 22,256 people have participated in the training. In 2023, there were more than 52,148 users in Thailand. From 2014 to the present, the application has been downloaded more than 1.9 million times worldwide. The top three countries with the highest number of downloads are Thailand, Spain, and the United States.
- An intelligent health care platform, MorDee, received the National Innovation Award for social and environmental contribution. The awards recognize “Innovative Works” and honor the organizations who produce and create innovations in the form of new products, new processes, new services or new business models that have actually been used and create tangible social and environmental value and positive impact, as well as deliver benefits for Thai society or the environment. Developed by True Digital Group, MorDee is an intelligent health care platform that connects health services in one application to uplift the quality of life for Thais across the country, even in remote areas, by enabling equal access to health care and medical services thoroughly anywhere, anytime via online. This reduces congestion in the hospitals and increases the opportunity to consult with specialized doctors, convenient and fast. MorDee application provides continuous holistic healthcare services by more than 500 doctors and specialists from leading institutions covering more than 20 branches of specialized clinical services covering preventive healthcare and telemedicine with drug delivery service to homes nationwide, allowing private treatment history and other health information viewing. MorDee also collaborates with the National Health Security Office (NHSO) to expand online medical services covering basic symptoms in 42 disease groups for Thais who entitled to the Gold Card program and connects with partners to offer a Tele Medi Claim+ service for insurance claim without having to make advance payment. MorDee application has been downloaded more than 520,000 times with more than 200,000 registered users. Its repeat usage rate is up to 40%.
