Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. today hosted their annual “Thailand Partners Summit 2024” event under the theme “Joining Hands for a Shared Era,” emphasizing partner confidence for collaboration and cooperation in Thailand. A new sub-brand, the HUAWEI eKit, and its accompanying strategy were also announced during the event, focusing on reinforcing industry strength, building partner motivation, and accelerating industrial intelligence by leveraging advanced organizational technologies to serve markets at all levels.
Mr. Chand Chen, Director of Enterprise Partner Development and Management Dept, Huawei Asia-Pacific Region, shared: “According to the latest forecast by global research firm Gartner Inc., there will be a projected 6.8% global growth in IT spending this year. In Thailand, this is expected to exceed 1 trillion baht for the first time, particularly in IT service groups investing in technology to enhance organizational efficiency. In parallel to this, Huawei is continuing to work with its partners to create a sustainable ecosystem that operates at maximum efficiency, a crucial part of digital transitions across industries. To date, we have partnered with over 40,000 global partners in enterprise markets, and in Thailand we have received strong support from key partners in the ICT industry, including ‘VST ECS’ and ‘Synnex’, who have helped us to drive digital transformation for businesses in the country. Huawei has very comprehensive and advanced products in data communication, optical, storage, and cloud fields, which helps our customers achieve business success and gain valuable benefits in digital and intelligent transformation. We will continue to work with our partners to accelerate industrial intelligence and facilitate digital and intelligent economic development with customers in Thailand.”
Mr. Will Qiu, Vice President of Enterprise Business, Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd., further emphasized that Huawei is focusing on strengthening its partnerships at all levels, emphasizing skill development in technology expertise from basic to advanced levels to build trust with customers and support joint marketing activities that enhance brand recognition. Additionally, Huawei will continue to expand into new markets this year, focusing on medium-to-large organizations after introducing the ‘HUAWEI eKit’, a sub-brand that offers products, solutions, and platforms tailored for SME marketing.
“HUAWEI eKit is another key platform for us to support partner operations and increase opportunities and channels for adopting advanced technologies. We already have a strong foundation in the large organizational market, which is why we have chosen to focus on product and solution groups that are adaptable, offering solutions that are easy to use, affordable for small businesses, and help push the SME sector to grow thanks to technologies that are comparable to those of large organizations.” Mr. Qiu stated.
Mr. Somsak Pejthaveeporndej, Chief Executive Officer of VST ECS (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a leading IT product distributor and Huawei partner, revealed that the company is prepared to offer a variety of products, teams, and 11 Sale offices to support market expansion in the year ahead, particularly in the growing medium-sized organization market, which is a significant market in Thailand for the company’s core commercial and enterprise business. Huawei has been working with VST ECS for over a decade, with VST ECS recently becoming a key partner in driving forward Huawei’s distribution market, which holds great potential.
Mr. Somsak explained: “We have been partners with Huawei for a long time, experiencing business challenges and successes together for over 10 years, and we see even more positive signs this year. Huawei continues to support us well, whether with new products, skill development, or sales incentives. Being a core partner in driving forward the HUAWEI eKit allows us to have tools, equipment, and products suitable for small businesses, which will likely promote our business growth plan better than ever.”
In addition to this, Ms. Sutida Mongkolsuthree, Chief Executive Officer of Synnex Thailand PCL., stated that this year, Synnex plans to focus on efficiently managing product groups, focusing on the continuously growing commercial product group and intensifying collaborations with technology developers. Thanks to their ongoing partnership with Huawei, Synnex has been able to realize significant growth in enterprise business, with the company continuing to move forward with its comprehensive products and services to meet market demand at all levels.
“We are very happy to work with Huawei and grow together with our key partners. Good technology and good services will be the backbone of our partnership for sustainable growth under our ‘Trusted by Synnex’ vision.” Ms. Sutida shared.
