Netizen and Celigo have teamed up to develop HoneyConn for integration between SAP systems for the first time in Thailand with the concept of “Keep the Core Clean.”
New technological developments bring businesses access to software that they can choose to carry out their work more easily. The efficiency and efficacy of software to carry out tasks; however, could not still be guaranteed — SAP is no exception. Despite its ability to integrate data rapidly, fragmented and varied data connection methods are not supportive to complicated information systems or the ever-emerging software applications without the help of an integration system.
Netizen Co., Ltd., a provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and SAP’s Platinum Partner chosen as the only member in Thailand of United VARs, collaborated with Celigo Co., Ltd., a leading integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) and Automate Process company from the United States, to develop a new solution called “HoneyConn” with the concept of “Keep the Core Clean” to assist with “One Single Platform” communication between software.
At the event, Mr. Seree Sathukijchai, Chief Executive Officer of Netizen and Mr. George Polyzos, Vice President, Asia Pacific of Celigo, signed an agreement on the adoption of system integration technology as middleware to connect data systems for automatic work. The technology can help shorten work time and reduce human error caused by manual work or changes made on software applications that might affect the surrounding systems.
Netizen’s experience of over 23 years in setting up SAP ERP has given it an insight into different work contexts across businesses and an awareness on the need for various methods to manage software application programs. This program management needs to align with each organization’s work.
“At Netizen, we are creating a work role based on the concept of ‘Keep the Core Clean,’ and we are working to minimize management on an ERP or Non-ERP system.”
The fact that the platform works on cloud helps reduce the costs of work, including hardware and maintenance costs. The platform also ensures the security of data stored on cloud managed by AWS,” Mr. Seree said.
The future goal of HoneyConn (iPaaS) developed by Netizen and Celigo is to become another Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) which will be used as middleware to seamlessly connect systems and other parts of an organization together. HoneyConn (iPaaS) delivers an automatic workflow for a positive organizational image and in keeping with the digital transformation era with the objective to transform an organization into a tech company. This new solution can help businesses in each industry and sector to become a leader more efficiently.
