Nokia has appointed Tanat Techatanabaht as Country Director for Thailand and Cambodia. Based in Bangkok, Tanat will oversee Nokia’s business and operations for the two nations in his new role.
Tanat has over 30 years of experience in the Asia-Pacific region’s telecommunications and IT sectors, mainly in countries such as Australia, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
With Nokia, Tanat has spent nearly two decades with the company – having performed several leadership roles in the company’s business development, project management, service sales and customer engagements in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia and the North Asia region. Before joining Nokia, Tanat served in various senior leadership roles in the IT industry across Australia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. More recently, Tanat was Nokia’s Customer Team Head for AIS in Thailand.
Tanat’s extensive experience and deep understanding of Nokia’s business and technology – as well as his deep familiarity with markets throughout Asia-Pacific – will be instrumental in the company’s continued efforts to expand its business in the Thai and Cambodian markets. His role will be especially crucial in leading Nokia’s work in delivering innovation and key solutions from the company’s unique portfolio, including 5G and high-speed private wireless solutions in both Thailand and Cambodia.
